Sandstone entrance, mellowing with age

A curved sandstone wall running into a stone pier at the gate. Sandstone mellows gently over time, and this one now sits comfortably in its surroundings, which is exactly what we hope for.

Serpentine wall and fire pit

We love coming back to jobs and seeing how our work blends into the client's garden over time. This little serpentine curve of stone wraps around a gravel fire pit and has settled in nicely.

Entrance piers at Acacia Ridge Winery

We built these Mt Angus sandstone entrance piers at Acacia Ridge Winery in Yarra Glen last year. Now they're settling in very nicely beside the white gates.

Sculpture3 photos

Basalt sphere on a sandstone plinth

Seeing this sculpture in its final resting place on a sunny afternoon was a proud moment. A lot of planning went into it, and it was only possible thanks to an extremely patient, trusting client who gave us 100% artistic license. It's our first garden sculpture and the first step towards branching out into sculptural work. These shots were taken just after a washdown, while the colours are popping, and we can't wait to see it in spring surrounded by plants and colour.

Curved feature wall, built 2023

This Mt Angus sandstone curved feature wall was built in 2023 on a new build. It's double sided, with the back hugging around a theatre room. Fond memories of this project, and lots of laughs.

Sandstone steps after washdown

A few shots of these Mt Angus sandstone steps just after their washdown, with the colours showing through. Stone pillars and cheek walls frame the climb to the front door.

Noojee terraced retaining walls

Our Noojee project is looking good. As the plants take off through spring, these terraced walls will start to settle in nicely.
